Building on The Histochemical Society’s experience of short course development with the Principles and Applications of Immunocytochemistry course from 2008 and 2009, the 2010 short course on Immunohistochemistry and Microscopy will include not only lectures from experts in microscopy but practical laboratory experience. The 2.5 day course will incorporate lecture and laboratory time on two days with a final day for wrap up, and open question and answer session.
The main text related to the lecture materials will be The Histochemical Society’s 2009 published manual on Principles and Applications of Immunocytochemistry. Text related to the 2010 laboratory sessions will be provided separately in a three ring binder suitable for laboratory conditions. Both lecture and lab texts are included in the cost of registration.
This course is appropriate for researchers and laboratory technicians that are working in basic research laboratories looking to expand their techniques and knowledge of IHC.
The Immunohistochemistry and Microscopy workshop is offered in conjunction with Histochemistry 2010, The Histochemical Society’s annual meeting. Meeting dates are March 21 – March 23, 2009.
Registration is limited to the first thirty applicants.
